Question 1

What should I put in the message?

Accepted Answer

What the business does, what you want the project to achieve, and anything that already exists: a current site, a deadline, a rough budget. Three sentences is plenty. I will ask about the rest on the call rather than make you fill in a brief.

Question 2

How quickly will I hear back?

Accepted Answer

Usually within a day, from me rather than an assistant or a sequence. If it is urgent, WhatsApp is faster than email.

Question 3

Does the quote cost anything?

Accepted Answer

No. You get a written scope, a timeline and a fixed price for free, and you are under no obligation to take it. If I think what you want is cheaper done another way, or that you do not need it at all, I will say so.

Question 4

Is there a minimum project size?

Accepted Answer

Not really. A one-page site starts at $499 and a speed fix on an existing site at $199, and plenty of what I do is a day of work on something that already exists. If it is a fifteen-minute job I will often just tell you how to do it.

Question 5

What if I do not know what I need yet?

Accepted Answer

That is a normal starting point and it is what the free 30-minute call is for. Describe the problem rather than the solution, "clients keep ringing to ask the same thing", "the spreadsheet has stopped coping"and I will tell you what it would actually take.

Question 6

Can we sign an NDA first?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Send yours and I will sign it, or I can send a short mutual one. Either way, nothing you tell me goes anywhere else.

Question 7

Which currencies can I pay in?

Accepted Answer

Quotes come in USD by default and can be issued in PKR, GBP, EUR or AED. Payment by bank transfer, Payoneer, Wise, Remitly or TapTapSend, a deposit confirms the project and the balance is due before it goes live.
