01 · The brief

What Kamil Ehsan needed

Official forms are often flattened PDFs, scans or photos with no fillable fields, and people retype the same details on every one. HelperDoc needed to read a form in any language, fill it accurately, and never guess.

02 · What I built

How it works

A Next.js web app where users upload a PDF, JPG or PNG. It reads every field — including flattened government PDFs, scans and handwriting — matches values from details the user has already confirmed, flags anything uncertain, and writes the answers onto the original page. It includes saved details behind a passcode, credit-based pricing with free starter credits, free form templates, and encrypted EU-only storage with automatic deletion after 30 days.

  • Upload a PDF, JPG or PNG and have every field read — even when the form has no fillable fields
  • Answers written onto the original page, with the layout untouched
  • Uncertain fields flagged for review instead of guessed
  • Saved details behind a passcode, reused across forms
  • Forms library, PDF editor and a free CV maker
  • Plans for individuals and teams, plus an enterprise page
