01 · The brief

What Safety Signs SG needed

Safety signage is bought under pressure: an inspection is due, a site has to open, and the buyer needs the right compliant sign in days, not weeks. Safety Signs SG supplies workplace, construction and fire signage across Singapore from its Sin Ming Drive unit, and needed a store where a contractor can find the exact sign, see what it costs, and order it without a phone call — while the made-to-order items still reach the team as a proper quote request.

02 · What I built

How it works

Built from scratch for the shop — catalogue structure, quote flow and checkout — not inherited and not dropped onto a stock theme. A WooCommerce store carrying 164 sign products across six categories — workplace, construction, fire, prohibited, barrier and hardware. Stock items go straight to the cart with sale pricing; made-to-order items swap the cart button for "Get a quote", so a custom sign starts a conversation instead of a failed checkout. Around the catalogue sit wishlists, customer accounts, order tracking, a 52-article blog, an FAQ page and local search markup, with WhatsApp, PayNow, Visa and PayPal as the ways to ask and to pay.

  • Catalogue of 164 safety signs across six categories, with sale pricing and stock state
  • Quote request on made-to-order items, cart checkout on stock items
  • Customer accounts, wishlists and order tracking for repeat trade buyers
  • Services page, FAQ and a 52-article blog on signage compliance
  • WhatsApp, phone and islandwide delivery stated on every page
  • Local business markup and category pages built for Singapore search
